31 Cape 31's sold at 31 North

After a crazy year here at 31 North we've sold four more boats in the last week and hit an epic milestone by selling our 31st Cape 31!

Dave Swete said, "We knew we had a special boat on our hands with a strict one design pocket rocket that was also winning on rating - 31 boats sold in a little over a year is awesome and we look forward to growing the class globally."

There were 13 teams out racing in the 31 Race Circuit at the Royal Ocean Racing Club Vice Admiral's Cup last weekend and the class is looking to have 15 boats out for Round 3 next weekend. With the Irish teams and our newest team from the Netherlands coming to join after that we're going to have 20+ boats on the Squadron line at Cowes Week.

These boat's aren't just great for one design racing though - in the last year they have had impressive results in a host of UK and European IRC events, Caribbean CSA events and US ORR/ORC Events.

New boats are arriving every month with some new teams and high profile sailors joining the fleet every day. The boats turn up in a 40 foot container and can be out sailing in 2 days. The team at 31 North have also been working on a towing solution with a few of the teams looking to take their boats to events around the world.

31 North Yachting hold the exclusive rights to sell Cape 31's in the Northern Hemisphere, with our main markets being UK, Europe and the USA. We know everything there is to know about Cape 31's and how to make them go best under IRC and within class racing. We have agents in the US and Europe to help with logistics, unloading and commissioning.
